I’ve just been having a natter on Twitter about face creams and face products, so I thought I’d bring together my favourite face products…
First of all, there’s my Clarisonic Plus. Okay, so it’s not technically a cream, lotion, or potion but without it my face would be all dry and lizard-like. I’ve had it a year now and it is amazing. It also comes with a body brush which is brilliant for doing elbows and tops of arms, etc (I’ve got those annoying little spots on the tops of my arms, but this helps a lot).

Lush – Gorgeous moisturiser
My favourite face cream of all time. I’ve been using this for years and years. I’ve been trying to find something new, purely because I’ve been using it for so long – but it looks like I’m going to have to buy another one because I can’t find anything that will beat it. If it ain’t broke, why fix it, as they say?
Here’s some ingredients for you… (it justifies the price!) Orange blossom honey, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic cold pressed evening primrose oil, organic cold pressed avocado oil, extra virgin coconut oil, fresh organic lemon juice, organic cold pressed wheatgerm oil, fresh organic orange juice, organic cold pressed grapeseed oil, fresh pineapple juice, orange flower absolute (this smells amazing), neroli oil and myrrh. It does have other things in it, but these are the lovely, fresh, edible sounding ingredients.

YSL – Flash Touch wake up eye care stick thingy.
I got this when I went to Harrods just before Christmas. It is a miracle product. It makes the skin around my eyes nice and supple and I can get close knowing that it’s an eye product. I’ve not really used specialist eye creams before. It de-puffifies which is really nice and the eye area feels cooled down and refreshed – it has a little metal ball in the end which is really cooling. I will be taking this on flights from now on.

Okay, so I know I’m really late turning up to the Touche Eclat party but I’m glad I waited because it now comes in 7 different shades and I’m a 2. Paired with the flash touch I think I am ready to take on the world every morning.

YSL – Top secrets toning & cleansing water.
This makes my skin feel all nice and clean and fresh. My skin has been noticeably more supple since I started using it and I don’t get the tightness that I was getting from face wipes. I use it with a textured cotton wool pad and it’s glorious.
£23 from Boots
YSL – Temps majeur toning lotion.
My skin loves this product, it just drinks it up. This was recommended because my skin is stupidly de-hydrated. A mixture of not drinking enough, having allergies (this makes me wipe my nose a lot so my skin is dry on my cheeks), and working in an air conditioned, dusty office.
£52 from Boots
I always, always have one of these on the go and I have one in my bag, coat pocket, make up cupboard, desk drawer at work… washing machine (on occasion!).
£1.29 from Boots
Creme de la mer – the lip balm
On the other end of the scale (on price) is this little beauty. I will forever have this in my life. It’s awesome. It’s thick, luxurious, lasts FOREVER and is tingly and cooling. My pot is battered as it lasts such a long time. It’s just brilliant.
£40 from John Lewis
Origins – United State balancing toner
Another toner to add because it is worth mentioning. It’s cooling and tingly which is just what you need sometimes. I always take this one away with me.
£17 from Origins
There you go! If you have any questions, just leave a comment for me.
A happy 2012 to everyone. I hope this year brings you everything you could possibly hope for and none of the bad stuff. X
