Happy Sunday everyone. How are you all getting on without summer? I’m finding it all very dull – rain, rain, rain… but we did manage to get out yesterday and do some indoor shopping at Bluewater. Although we have not yet hadf a summer, and I have only worn flip flops once this year, my feet are very dry so I thought I’d give the Volcano foot mask from Lush a go.
It is £5.50 for 125g and I estimate that I used… 1/3 of it on both of my feet last night. It contains…
Kaolin, Pumice, Limeflower and Cleaver Decoction,Fresh Tomatoes, Fresh Papaya, Potatoes,Glycerine, Bentonite Gel, Menthol Crystals, Lemon Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, *Eugenol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume,Methylparaben, Propylparaben
…and in a weird way the thing you can smell the most is the tomatoes. It is very peculiar. It dries out quickly so the label says to wrap your feet in plastic [out came the trusty clingfilm]. After the instructed 10 minutes was up I could feel the minty tingle, which was quite nice. It came off easily in the shower, unlike some face masks!
This morning my feet feel softer and smoother. I still have a long way to go and I am going to try some heel balm next, but I’ll be using this again, for sure.
