Tuesdays are my least favourite day of the week. I know a lot of people dislike Mondays but at least on Monday it is acceptable to discuss your weekend with your colleagues and the memories of Sunday are still fresh. What does Tuesday have to offer? It is still really far away from the weekend and the memories are just that, and fading fast. Okay, so today was slightly different because it was a bank holiday but it’s still really far away from the weekend so I’m still not enjoying it and you can’t make me.
On a good note, when I’ve had a bad day at work I’m more likely to be window shopping online because it cheers me up and this can only be a good thing for the blog.
Food roundup: The brownies went down really well at work today – there are some left so they will go really well with a cup of tea for elevensies tomorrow. I made sausage gnocchi for dinner tonight – it was supposed to be chilli chicken gnocchi but I forgot to defrost the chicken so it ended up as chilli sausage gnocchi, don’t judge me. It was actually delicious. Lunch isn’t even worth mentioning, work lunches are blah.
My MAC order turned up at work today but I forgot to bring it home, so more on that tomorrow, with photos.
What else? Oh yes, I’m on my second week of using Urban Decay’s Urban Defence tinted moisturiser [with SPF 20] and I am loving it. It’s a little pricey at £20 as it’s in tube packaging but I’ll see how long it lasts. It does need something over the top as it leaves my face a little on the shiny side, but that’s not the end of the world as I like to put my blusher on top of a powder base anyway. I highly recommend it – I have combination skin.
Oh, I almost forgot, it’s Bo’s birthday today. I think it’s her 8th birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY BO… here she is, looking all awesome…
I think I’ll leave it there, I was going to show you some stuff I like from Urban Outfitters but it’s getting pretty long now and I’ll save it for another day.
Roll on Wednesday…
p.s. I forgot to add that I’ve also blogged on my new photography blog today…
